Purchasing linotune |

Please use the free trial first to confirm linotune's performance on your machine. Once you are satisfied, you can either buy or lease linotune. In both cases your purchase includes:
Refund policy: I only want happy customers! Should you have any issue with linotune, let me know and I'll do my best to resolve it. Should you wish to return any linotune product for any reason, just tell me so within a month of purchase. After you've deactivated your product you'll of course receive a full refund. Buy linotune: Buying linotune outright has the advantage that, once activated, it won't require any Internet connectivity, except when moving the license to another machine.
Multi-strobe upgrade: this optional upgrade allows you to run any number of strobes simultaneously, limited only by the performance of your machine. The strobes communicate via shared memory, can (but do not have to) share the same audio input and/or output, and can be slaved to run at a given interval from the first ("master") strobe. This upgrade requires that you posess:
Lease linotune: You can also lease linotune in 12 monthly instalments. This allows you to use linotune right away with little upfront cost, and to cancel the lease should you decide that linotune is not for you after all. The disadvantages of leasing linotune are:
Buy one month, get one free. When you lease linotune, your first instalment will enable you to run linotune for two months instead of one. Subscribing then canceling after the first payment is thus a cost-efficient way to give linotune an extended trial, or use it for a one-off project. If you leave the lease running, subsequent instalments will then each add a month to the running time, until at the end of the one-year lease period your license automatically converts to unlimited validity. Frequently Asked Questions |

I've completed the purchase, where's my license key/upgrade? If you don't receive an email with your license key or upgrade within minutes of completing your purchase, it is most likely for one of the following reasons:
What if my installation of linotune is damaged or deleted? Your license key remains valid regardless of events such as OS upgrades and hard disk replacements. If you lose your installation, simply download & install linotune again, then re-activate it with the original key. Make sure you keep a copy of your license key in a safe place away from your computer! Can I run linotune off the net? Certainly! Interaction with our server is required only for activation and deactivation (in order to move your license to another machine), plus - if you've leased linotune - about once a month during the lease period. Can I lease the multi-strobe upgrade? Sorry, this upgrade can only be purchased outright. However, you can buy it to upgrade a leased copy of linotune. What if the linotune server dies? While it is not possible to buy or activate linotune when our server is down, an already activated copy of linotune will continue to run happily. Our server is housed in a highly reliable and secure professional data center; its downtime is measured in minutes per month. Posted by lino on 13 Nov 2011 |
